PAL Baggage Allowance

  • Philippine Airlines Domestic Baggage Allowance

Cabin / Carry-on Baggage – Passengers are permitted 1 carry-on / cabin baggage; the baggage must not exceed the dimensions of 56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm and not weigh more than 7 kg ( 22 in x 14 in x 9 in, weight ≤ 15 lbs.). Additionally, passengers may bring up to 2 of any of the following : 

  • Small handbag
  • Pocket book / purse
  • Overcoat / wrap /  blanket
  • Small camera / binoculars
  • Laptop
  • Reading material
  • Duty free bag
  • Baby food
  • Crutches and / or braces / walking stick / other prosthetic device for passenger’s use if they are dependent on them

Check-in Baggage – On Philippine Airlines check in baggage for passengers boarding a domestic flight the limits are quite plain; Economy Supersaver ticket holders do not have free check-in baggage allowance, Economy Saver ticket holders are allotted free check-in baggage allowance of up to 10 kg and Economy Value and Economy Flex ticket holder are allocated free check-in baggage allowance of up to 20 kg (except for passengers boarding from Basco, only free check-in baggage allowance of up to 10 kg is permitted). As for Philippine Airlines business class, the Business Value ticket holders have free check-in baggage allowance of up to 30 kg and Business Flex ticket holders have free check-in baggage allowance of up to 35 kg.

*Note: The linear dimension of each check-in baggage must not exceed 158 centimeters and weigh no more than 32 kg. If a check-in baggage exceeds the free baggage allowance limits outlined by Philippine Airlines, excess baggage charges are applicable.

  • Philippine Airlines Baggage Allowance International

Cabin / Carry-on Baggage – The airline allows 1 carry-on / cabin baggage; the baggage must not exceed the dimensions of 56 cm x 36 cm x 23 cm and the weight must not exceed 7 kg ( 22 in x 14 in x 9 in, weight ≤ 15 lbs.). Moreover, passengers may bring up to 2 of any of the following :
