I was forced to pay for a fully refundable return ticket to Nigeria. I called the Turkish office personnel at the MM1 airport to help me cancel it and I was asked to mail to make inquiries about the refunding process. He said it takes 0-60 working days. Please what procedure do I take? Also, What else do I need to do to ensure I get my refund this year?

My wife and I booked for ticket to travel to the UK and Istanbul unfortunately the covid 19 lockdown which created movement restriction took effect the day we were to embark on the journey. So since April 2020 we were unable to use the ticket and in the course of the covid lock down our visas expired. Up till now we have not been able to travel because of the difficulties associated with the covid situation in the UK. We wrote a letter of ticket money refund August last year up till now no response. What do we do to get a refund since traveling for holidays has become complicated because of the covid situations.
