    Dear madam /sir,

    I m writing to complain about two different related issues related to my current experience traveling from Prishtina Airport.

    On April 21 I checked at Austrian Airlines in Prishtina and got my tickets to fly via Vienna ( ETK 0162344374071) to Washington DC (ETK 0162344374071) on the same day, I did fly to Vienna and just at the boarding time I was told by Austrian representatives that I can not fly to Washington due to some restrictions from US on travellers with B1/B2 Visa. They also told me that I should not have been allowed to depart Prishtina Airport at all at first. As a consequence I lost my ticket to Washington DC and I had to come back to Prishtina ( ETK 0162345088868). Loosing both time and money, but also failing to go to destination I wanted to go. When turned back in Prishtina I complained to both the Austrian representative and to a Lady who was shift manager at the ticketing/ check in area, they both accepted that there was a mistake allowing me to depart from Prishtina because they all were aware of the restrictions traveling on B1/B2 VISA via any Schengen country to US. In addition they both confirmed to me that if I book new flight itinerary via Istanbul I can fly to US. I made a written complain the same day and put it in the box of complains and comments at the airport of Prishtina. Following their advice and considering the importance of my trip I did buy a new ticket to go to Washington DC via Istanbul being sure I should not have similar issues.
    On 22nd of April I checked in at the Prishtina Airport ( ETK 235243861915200) reassured that I will be able to go to Washington this time (ETK 235243861915200), unfortunately at the boarding time I was told that I can not fly to Washington DC because of the fact that I have tried flying out of Austria the day before and therefore I have to wait another 15 days before I am allowed to go fly again! Again loosing my ticket to DC, time and suffer, I had to book my other ticket to Prishtina or whenever available close to Prishtina, I did pay the ticket for the first available fly to Tirana International Airport ( ETK 2352438773872) costing me a lot of money for the ticket but also loosing my luggage which I am working to find them based on a reclamation I made at the Tirana airport.

    For your information, prior to traveling I personally checked on the information available for any condition or restriction and I could not find such restrictions announced! The only one requirement was the COVID test not older than three days and the cover face/ mask, what I fully complied with.

    I really would appreciate compensation for all of these costs!
