Airports are fast becoming quasi-destinations for travelers around the world. Skytrax, a consumer aviation survey portal presents The World Airport Awards since 1999 based on survey responses of millions of passengers. It is also called the Passengers Choice Awards making people aware of the global benchmark of airport excellence. The survey evaluates their experience from check-ins to departure at the gate.

For the 6th consecutive year, Changi Airport to has been voted the World’s Best Airport at the 2018 World Airport Awards in Stockholm, Sweden. Singapore’s Changi Airport serves as a major gateway of Asia taking the classic Kangaroo Route to cities in Australia, China and India. It is fast becoming a key transit point, thanks, to the rising air travel market of Asia and plethora of facilities and memorable airport experience of passengers passing through the airport. The award reaffirms the Airport’s commitment of putting passengers at the heart of all they do.
